Recognized as one of the most complete profiles of his generation, Miquel Massana develops his career between the symphonic, lyrical and cobla worlds, thus consolidating his own voice in the current musical panorama. His profound pedagogical vocation and musical dissemination also stand out.

He is Chief Conductor of Cobla Sant Jordi - Ciutat de Barcelona, "Rovira i Virgili" University Symphony Orchestra and Ponent Youth Orchestra and has also been invited by Vallès Symphony Orchestra, Camerata XXI Orchestra, Sant Cugat Symphony Orchestra, Giosymphonia or Chamber Orchestra of the Island of Menorca.

With the Opera Catalunya Foundation production of Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, he began his career in the operatic field that continues at the Barcelona Opera House, as musical director of the premiere of Azul como una naranja, by Guillem Palomar and Jo,núvol, by Sergi Puig as well as assistant conductor of La Cenerentola, by Gioachino Rossini, or Akhnaten, by Philip Glass. He is also musical director of the choir of the Friends of the Lyric Theater of Tarragona.
